Non-UK infections - the development of CAL material for pharmacy students and practitioners
This computer aided learning tool has been designed to educate and provide information about non-UK infections. It has been constructed for use by pharmacy professionals and pharmacy students in order to enhance knowledge and for use as part of the CPD programme.
Due to increased international travel and the boom in eco-tourism, infections which have been contracted abroad are often misdiagnosed and therefore mismanaged upon return to the UK. This learning tool aims to reduce the likelihood of this and to educate viewers on various infections which are not endemic to the UK, yet have an ever-increasing chance of presenting in a UK pharmacy.
